As already reported by The Diplomat, last Wednesday the Grupo Perla del Pacífico presented the 3rd Edition of the Ecuador Tapa Route in Madrid, with the support of the Embassy of Ecuador, which will be offered until next May 2.
Numerous media met at the Restaurant La Perla del Pacífico in General Ricardos street, 142 Madrid (one of the many that this group runs in the Spanish capital) to taste the delicious tapas prepared for this 3rd edition by the renowned Ecuadorian chef Miguel Monar.
Being a tradition in Madrid the routes of tapas, Ecuador does not want to be left behind, and this way it wants to make known to the public madrileños the exotic and magical flavors of the gastronomy of the Ecuadorian.
As last year, Grupo Perla del Pacífico involves its locals in the route, which, as usual, will have their respective passports for diners to seal when consuming. Once the diner seals 3 times his passport, either in the same place or in several of the group, it goes to a draw that, as usual, will be a very generous prize. In the previous editions, iphones of last generation and plane tickets to Latin America were raffled.
As we have already reported, this year there are surprises: two of the tapas that were successful in important events (gala dinner in Budapest and at the world’s most important tourism fair «ITB” in Berlin) will be offered, and a third one that will be unpublished and original from each local. All information, both from the tops and addresses where you can attend will be in the route passport.
The receptivity of diners in the two routes above was a success by both Ecuadorians and audiences from other nationalities and this route will be much more generous in dissemination, since more and more brands want to join it, and this edition is expected to reach at least 5,000 diners who enjoy the gastronomy of Ecuador.
The price of each tapa will be 5 euros with drink, and will be available throughout the day from Monday to Friday, from 10 to 23 hours, and on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 to 13 hours and 16 to 23 hours.
