Giuseppe Buccino Grimaldi, Ambassador of Italy, recently received a representation of students from the Association for the United Nations and International Law (ANUDI) at Universidad Carlos III in Madrid.

According to the Italian Embassy, “after a visit to the representation halls of the Italian Residence, the former Palace of the Marquess of Amboage, ANUDI students spoke with the ambassador, who shared his professional career at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy, the achievements of Italian diplomacy and national policies aimed at the younger generation in the field of diplomatic and international education.”

Next, and always according to the embassy, a “fruitful” question-and-answer session took place that “allowed the young participants to understand in greater depth the functioning of the Embassy and its essential role in promoting bilateral cooperation and relations between Italy and Spain”.

The initiative is part of the broader program of activities that the Embassy promotes with the universities of Spain, aimed at “deepening cooperation with the university system and to disseminate the principles that guide the action of public diplomacy of Italy”, as noted in the note from the Italian Embassy.
