The Embassy of Colombia and Planeta Formación y Universidades present the third edition of their study aid program, fruit of the partnership between both entities.
This initiative aims to boost the higher education of professionals and young Colombians living in Spain, who stand out for their academic merits and want to grow professionally and set new goals.
This study support program is part of the Cooperation Protocol signed between the Embassy and Planeta Formación and Universities in 2022. In the 2026-2027 call, 200 new aids are offered to access courses of: Middle Degree Training Cycle, Higher Degree Training Cycle, Degree, Postgraduate, Doctorate and Continuing Education.
The study aid program for Colombian citizens living in Spain includes three types: 1) those that cover 100% of training, 2) those that cover 75%; and 3) those that cover 50% of the cost of training.
The call for applications for these grants was opened yesterday, March 23 and will end on June 30, 2026. Students can register online through this website.
The institutions of Planeta Formación and Universities that participate in this program are: Barcelona Culinary Hub by Martín Berasategui, BIU Broadward International University, EAE Business School, Esdesign- Escuela Superior de Diseño de Barcelona, Iberonex, iFP- Innovation in Vocational Training, INESDI Business Techschool, OBS Business School, The Core School- Entertainment Science School, UNIE University, Universidad Internacional de Valencia-VIU and Universitat Carlemany.
In this regard, Eduardo Ávila Navarrete, Ambassador of Colombia , declared that “the agreement concluded since I arrived at this Embassy with Planeta Formación and Universities represents a way to recognize the Colombian diaspora in Spain, because those who accede have the opportunity to study in order to integrate into the social and professional life of this country.”
