Round table of the Real Instituto Elcano ‘Ukraine: between war and peace’

The Real Instituto Elcano presents tomorrow Thursday at 12 o’clock in the Fundación Botín (Castelló street, 18C) the round table entitled Ukraine: between war and peace.

On the fourth anniversary of the start of the war in Ukraine, the conflict has profoundly transformed European security, the international order, and the transatlantic relationship. The roundtable will discuss not only developments on the battlefield, but also diplomatic perspectives, negotiating scenarios and challenges to a lasting peace.

Four years later, Ukraine remains the epicenter of a confrontation whose consequences extend far beyond its borders, testing cohesion between Europe and the United States and forcing rethinking the future of Europe’s security architecture.

With the presentation and moderation of Charles Powell, director of the Real Instituto Elcano, will participate in the round table the members of the research team of the Real Instituto Elcano: Félix Arteaga, Carlota García Encina, Mira Milosevich and Ignacio Molina. The event will take place in Spanish without simultaneous interpretation.

The format is face-to-face, and it is required to send a confirmation of attendance at confirmaciones@rielcano.org.
