Artificial intelligence, protagonist yesterday of The Diplomat in Spain

The Diplomat

Once again, the meeting organized yesterday by The Diplomat in Spain, the Association of Foreign Diplomats (ADE) and Meliá Hotels entitled The IA: a challenge for Europe and the world order, which had as speaker Vicente Palacio, director of Foreign Policy of the Fundación Alternativas, brought together a large number of diplomats interested in the subject of artificial intelligence.

Vicente Palacio described all the dangers and also advantages that artificial intelligence is going to offer in the near future, taking into account above all the geopolitics and the world power blocks that are currently at the forefront of the world.

As usual in our discussions, the diplomats were very attentive to the explanations and at the end of the presentation several questions were asked to the speaker that served to deepen even more in the present and future state of artificial intelligence.

The Diplomat’s Tertulias have been held regularly for years and address different aspects of politics, economy and society in Spain and abroad. Its objective is to offer foreign diplomats different approaches and points of view on aspects of the Spanish and world reality, under the condition of strict confidentiality of what is discussed in the room.
