As part of its ongoing commitment to Spanish universities, the Embassy of the United Arab Emirates has received students from the Association for the United Nations and International Law at the Carlos III University in Madrid.
The visit aimed to strengthen mutual understanding and provide students with a first-hand view of the UAE’s foreign policy, diplomacy and strategy in youth education and empowerment. Saleh Al Suwaidi, Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates, welcomed the students and shared with them the inspiring experience of the Emirates, It reflects the country’s commitment to creating a new generation of young leaders capable of building bridges of cooperation and global dialogue.
During the meeting, students explored the achievements of Emirati diplomacy and the UAE strategy on youth empowerment and diplomatic education. The talk included a question and answer space, where students were able to dialogue and better understand how embassies work and their role in promoting international cooperation and cultural understanding.
This visit is part of the Embassy’s programme of activities with Spanish universities, which aims to disseminate knowledge about the legacy, history and public diplomacy of the United Arab Emirates. Similar initiatives include the visit received earlier this year by students from the University of Comillas, reaffirming the Embassy’s commitment to educational exchange and strengthening ties between the UAE and Spain.
