Teatro Lara presents the comedy of humor and theatrical sharpness ‘Tantra’

 

Madrid’s Teatro Lara (Corredera Baja de San Pablo, 15) hosts the premiere of Tantra, a comedy that, with humor and sharpness, delves into new masculinities and emotional intimacy between men.

 

Written and directed by Ana Graciani and Gabriel Olivares, the play is presented as a unique theatrical experience that invites reflection and laughter. In a local neighborhood converted into a tantric therapy center, three very different men embark on a session that promises spiritual and emotional connection. However, what they find is a series of misunderstandings and unexpected discoveries that will test their ideas about friendship, masculinity and intimacy.A peculiar teacher, played by Alberto Amarilla, will try to lead them into spiritual and emotional connection through the secrets of tantric massage, though things won’t turn out exactly as they expected.

 

Tantra is a comedy that explores with humor and intelligence the friendship between men, the new masculinities and the true meaning of intimacy, showing that the authentic connection goes far beyond sex.

 

The cast is headed by Alberto Amarilla, recently awarded the Best Supporting Actor in Theatre Award by the Unión de Actores. He is accompanied by Javier Martín, Max Marieges and Jorge Vidal, recognized for their career in theatrical comedy. Completing the cast alternately Abraham Arenas and Diego Rioja.
