The Centro Cultural Coreano presents its 13th K-Pop Contest in Spain

 

On 29 June at 12 o’clock will take place in the Teatro EDP Gran Vía of Madrid (Calle Gran Vía, 66), the final of the 13th K-Pop Contest organized by the Centro Cultural Coreano, with free admission until full capacity. Prizes of up to €1,000, a trip to Korea and exclusive raffles with Blackpink and Stray Kids.

 

On the occasion of the celebration of the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Spain, the Centro Cultural Coreano announces the celebration of this edition of the already traditional K-Pop in Spain, a must for all fans of Korean music and culture in Spain. The entrance is free and free and can be picked up on the same day of the event from 11:00 hours, until capacity is full. It is recommended to arrive in advance to ensure access.

 

Upon receipt of entries, the Centro Cultural Coreano will select finalists to compete in two categories: Singing and Rap, and Dance, with five performances in each modality. Participants will compete with songs by renowned K-Pop artists on the stage of the capital. In addition to a prize of € 1,000, the winners of the first place will have the opportunity to represent Spain at the K-Pop World Festival to be held in Changwon (South Korea) and organized by the KBS chain. The runners-up will receive a prize of €500.

 

The presenter of the contest will be Inmaculada Quesada, known as Inmagic, recognized magician and creator of content with more than 13 million followers on TikTok and 10 million on YouTube. In addition to her career as an artist, Inmagic is passionate about K-Pop, regularly incorporating it into their digital content and shows. It has also published a book called Inmagic and the heart of magic, and has its own magic show in different cities of Spain.

 

The jury will be composed of three leading figures from the K-Pop industry: Jay Kim, Dohee and Seungjoo Lee. Jay Kim, the former member of the famed 1Million Dance Crew, is a renowned choreographer who has worked with artists like The Boyz and Jay Park, and has given workshops in more than 60 countries. The talented Korean dancer and choreographer, Dohee, has been part of the 1 Million Dance Crew for years and was a participant in the popular show Street Woman Fighter 2. Seungjoo Lee, the third member of the jury, is the lead singer of rock band Vanilla Unity and composer of hit soundtracks such as Beautiful from “Goblin”. During the event, the jury will offer special live performances, further enriching the experience for the audience.
