Spain condemns Houthi attack on Ben Gurion Airport in Israel

The Spanish government strongly condemned this Sunday the ballistic missile attack carried out by Yemen’s Houthi rebels against Ben Gurion Airport in Israel.

“Indiscriminate attacks, particularly against civilian infrastructure, are a serious violation of international law and must cease immediately,” the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated in a press release.

At least six people were injured this Sunday as a result of a Houthi ballistic missile hitting the vicinity of the Israeli airport after overcoming the Israeli Army’s defensive systems.

This is the fifth Houthi attack against Israel in the last 48 hours, but it is the first time that Israel’s defensive system has failed to intercept one of these missiles.
