From December 19 to January 26, 2025, the classic of Agatha Christie, Testigo de Cargo (Witness for the Prosecution), arrives at the Teatro Fernán Gómez. Cultural Center of the Villa de Madrid, with a great cast and an exceptional protagonist, the actor Fernando Guillén Cuervo playing the shrewd lawyer Sir Wilfrid Roberts.

In her role as a playwright, Agatha Christie wrote many successful plays. The common thread of all is the intrigue that sticks the viewer from the first minute in the chair and does not let go until the (always surprising) resolution. But, also, the other great feature of Christie as a playwright is the construction of universal characters with which we immediately identify, very particular prototypes of loyalty, greed, power or betrayal.
This version of Witness for the Prosecution is told at the rhythm of a contemporary thriller, with a tension that does not let to breathe. An atmosphere that becomes more and more dense during the trial which serves as a thread.
