From 15 to 22 October, the Teatro Real de Madrid opens the dance season with El lago de los cisnes (Swan Lake), which returns to the Royal presented by the prestigious Ballet de San Francisco.
Tamara Rojo, the Madrid-based choreographer, will make her debut in Spain as artistic director of the company. This new and captivating version of the classic Tchaikovsky is choreographed by Helgi Tomasson and inspired by the original by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov.
