The Israeli Minister for Diaspora Affairs and Combating Anti-Semitism, Amichai Chikli, yesterday accused the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, of lacking a “moral compass” due to his positions regarding the war in Gaza, Palestine and the recent Iranian attack.
“I know that Sánchez does not have a moral compass,” declared Chikli, a member of Likud, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s party, during a press conference at the headquarters of the Israel Europe Press Association in Brussels. “He is an extremely weak leader,” the minister continued.
Likewise, he stated that the Iranian attack this past weekend has served to “drop the masks” in the EU, whose leaders, “except Sánchez”, have condemned the bombing “loud and clear.” Amichai Chikli also urged the EU to approve “strong sanctions” against Iran that affect both diplomatic and commercial relations.
