OFF latina teatro de Madrid (calle de los Mancebos, 4) presents next Thursday 21 March at 10 pm the concert Tango en guitarras, in which the Argentine guitarists Ramón Maschio and Mariano Gil combine their experiences of more than 20 years as artists of Tango and Argentine Music in a carefully chosen repertoire in which classics and contemporary music converge, as well as their own compositions.
Their original arrangements for guitar, improvisation and a great musical complicity define this proposal. They have performed on important European stages and festivals, bringing this music with popular roots to the world of concert music.
The guitarist Mariano Gil has performed together with the Cypriot soprano Viviana Giannaki in concerts for diplomatic audiences in Madrid, where they have delighted regional centres, such as the Centro Riojano, and diplomatic cultural centres, such as the Centro Sefarad-Israel, with his guitar and voice.
