Last Friday, the Ukrainian Embassy, with the collaboration of the British Embassy, held the Christmas Bake Sale charity event, in order to support the action started a few months ago by Ambulancia, to purchase an armoured ambulance car.

The event was attended by the Lithuanian and Estonian ambassadors, representatives of the Diplomatic Corps, Spanish business associations and humanitarian aid funds.

Ukrainian Ambassador Sergiy Pogoreltsev and British Embassy Counsellor Sarah Coley thanked the attendees for participating in the event, stressing the need to continue coordinated efforts to comprehensively support Ukraine by providing humanitarian assistance, including by joining in fundraising for the purchase of an armoured ambulance.

As part of the charity event, participants were able to familiarise themselves with the works of Ukrainian masters of traditional Petrykivka decorative painting, as well as purchase Ukrainian souvenirs to support the embassy’s campaign. All proceeds from the event will go towards the purchase of an armoured ambulance.

Numerous attendees gathered at the premises of the Ukrainian Embassy.
