The Spanish airlines Iberia, Air Europa and Vueling are among the best airlines in the world, according to the annual AirHelp Score 2022 ranking.
Iberia is the most highly rated airline according to the AirHelp world ranking and occupies 31st place with a total score of 7.01, which corresponds to a score of 8.66 in punctuality, 8.03 in customer satisfaction and a fail in its efficiency in handling complaints with a 4.35, reports Europa Press.
Iberia is therefore up four places compared to the previous ranking in 2019, when it was in 35th position.
In addition, Air Europa appears as the second Spanish airline in valuation and is placed at number 52 in the ranking. It obtains an overall score of 5.90: 8.49 for punctuality, 7.99 for customer satisfaction and a very poor 1.22 for complaint handling. It drops ten places compared to 2019, when it was ranked 42nd.
For its part, Vueling is the third Spanish airline in the ranking, improving to 57th place (62nd in 2019) with an overall score of 5.66, with an on-time performance of 8.18, a 7.22 in customer rating and a 1.59 in complaints handling.
According to AirHelp, the three Spanish airlines all stand out for their poor management of the complaints process, where they are among the worst in the overall ranking of airlines worldwide.
Once again this year, the best rated airline is Qatar Airways, which maintains its position of honour from 2018 and consolidates its position as the best airline in the world with an overall score of 8.11.
Second in the ranking is United Airlines with an overall score of 8.07, while Australia’s Qantas comes in third place with a score of 8.02.
All three airlines have excelled due to their consistent and effective processing of passenger complaints, high punctuality and high customer ratings.
