On Friday 23 September, the Embassy of Saudi Arabia celebrated the 92nd National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the theme “It’s our home”.

During the ceremony, “glittering glimpses of history, heritage, culture, knowledge and pluralism, in the words of Ambassador Azzam A. Algain, testified to the great legacy that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia enjoys. When all this coincides with our country’s National Day, it puts us at the centre of the action and makes for ever new lights and upturns, for the Homeland is our home.”

“Ninety-two years of Homeland, welfare and loyalty,” the Saudi ambassador continued in his speech. A homeland that embraces the sky and boasts a history of achievement and pride. Ninety-two years of glory, prosperity, welfare, security and progress under the rational leadership of our monarchy, which spares no effort to strengthen the position of the Kingdom and the Saudi people in all spheres in line with the leading role our country plays, both regionally and internationally.”

To achieve these goals, Ambassador Azzam A. Algain underlined Saudi Arabia’s effort “in the interest of promoting the role of youth, empowerment of women in all fields, through the social and important Saudi Vision 2030 initiative, which focuses on three axes: vibrant society, ambitious nation and prosperous economy. All under the direct supervision of His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, the Vision’s godfather.”

Present at the reception were numerous ambassadors from the Arab World and the rest of the world, as well as a large representation of Saudi nationals and their families, who added a family touch to the event.
