Madrid will host next September 8 the first business forum on internationalization in Italy, organized by the Chamber of Madrid.
The event, in whose organization also participates the firm of lawyers and economists FormaItalia, dedicated to legal, tax, labor and business advice in Italy, will be held at the Palacio de Santoña, next to the Embassy of Italy.
“The cultural closeness between Italy and Spain, the proliferation of new events of global impact such as the 2026 Cortina-Milano Winter Olympics in 2026, as well as new measures to encourage free trade with operators from the rest of the EU, create a great scenario of opportunities for commercial exchange,” stated the organizers.
“During the year 2021, the Community of Madrid has led in Spain in the creation of new companies with 23.4% of the national market, while its exports have been 10.4%”, data that “prove the high potential and margin of travel of the companies of the territory for their internationalization.
The institutional opening will be in charge of Ángel Asensio, president of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services of Madrid; Isabel Díaz Ayuso, president of the Community of Madrid; and Riccardo Guariglia; ambassador of Italy in Spain and Andorra.
Roberto Nocella, First Counselor of the Italian Embassy in Spain and Head of the Economic and Commercial Office, will then speak on Business Opportunities in Italy: priority sectors and investment projects, and Alfredo Izquierdo, Founding Partner, will address Instruments for internationalization and negotiations with local stakeholders. Afterwards, representatives of Acciona, Cellnex and Ebro Foods, will analyze the Spanish business presence in Italy, and the event will conclude with a round table on Experiences and formulas for success of Madrid’s SMEs in Italy.
