As part of the Veranos de la Villa, on 11 and 12 August at 10 pm, the Centro Cultural Conde Duque will host The Infernal Comedy-Confessions of a Serial Killer, performed by the American actor John Malkovich (in the photo).
The veteran actor presents this drama for an actor, two sopranos and orchestra based on the true story of the murderer Jack Unterweger (1950-1994). Malkovich brings to life this serial killer who surprisingly and poetically decided to put his confession in writing. A work with a very particular staging in which a string orchestra plays Baroque music and two soprano soloists, all of them immersed in the task of playing and singing pieces by great composers of history such as Mozart, Gluck, Haydn, Vivaldi, Boccherini, Weber and Beethoven. Omara Portuondo, one of the great exponents of traditional Cuban music, will say goodbye to Madrid audiences on 9 August in what she has announced as her last world tour: Vida. A magical evening in which the best-known hits from her long discography can be heard, with which Portuondo anticipates her farewell to the international stage after a career full of great moments.
