The chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Spanish Congress, Pau Marí-Klose, held a meeting with the new Armenian ambassador to Spain, Sos Avetisyan.

At the meeting, which took place on Wednesday, the ambassador explained to Pau Marí-Klose the border incidents that he believes “Azerbaijan is provoking, its aggressive policy against Armenia and the constant threats to its territorial integrity”, according to the Embassy’s website.

At the meeting they also discussed issues related to the agenda of bilateral relations, emphasised the strengthening of parliamentary diplomacy and exchanged ideas on the current geopolitical situation.

A month ago, the ambassador was also received by the President of the Congress, Meritxel Batet.
