Paz y Cooperación online conference on School Day of Non-violence and Peace

On the occasion of the celebration of the School Day of Non-violence and Peace, Spanish NGO Paz y Cooperación organised an online conference on Monday in which various specialists in children’s education took part. They shared their experiences in the sector and debated how to promote the values of peace among young people in the face of the challenges posed by new technologies and globalisation.

 

Representatives of several embassies, including those of Cyprus and India, also took part in the debate.

 

Among the participants were Professor Miguel Pérez, Director of the Aula Hospitalaria at the Hospital del Niño Jesús in Madrid; Professor María Fernández, specialist in education and patron of Paz y Cooperación; Dr. Tania Ramírez, Executive Director of the Red por los Derechos de la Infancia in Mexico; and Carlos Uriarte, Professor of Law at the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos and patron of Paz y Cooperación.
