Yesterday, the Government approved the seventh extension of the agreement of last February 2, limiting flights between Brazil and South Africa and Spanish airports to combat the spread of COVID-19.
During the press conference after the Council of Ministers, the Government spokeswoman, María Jesús Montero, specified that the measure will be in force from 00:00 hours on May 11 until 00:00 hours on May 25 (peninsular hours). Certain exceptions to the restrictions are maintained, such as those related to flights occupied by Spanish citizens or residents in Spain.
On the other hand, the spokeswoman recalled that, in the case of persons coming from India, a ministerial order requires the presentation of a negative PCR carried out at origin and to undergo quarantine.
