Julia Alicia Olmo, new ambassador for Hybrid Threats and Cybersecurity

The Council of Ministers announced yesterday the appointment of Julia Alicia Olmo y Romero as ambassador on  Special Mission for Hybrid Threats and Cybersecurity.

 

Born on October 11, 1961 in Madrid and member of the Diplomatic Career since 199, Olmo was head of the Media Relations Department of the Diplomatic Information Office and was assigned to Spanish diplomatic representations in Uruguay and Colombia.

 

She was also Deputy General Director of Personnel of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cultural and Cooperation Counselor at the Embassy of Spain in Mexico and Ambassador of Spain in Ghana, Togo and Angola. She was currently an advisory member in the Cabinet of the Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation.
