Margallo: Spain needs “a very solid Government” to face a possible Brexit

The Diplomat. 08/03/2016

On Monday, the Foreign Minister, José Manuel García-Margallo, warned that Spain needs to have a “very solid Government” before holding the referendum on the UK’s permanence in the EU, called for “three days before the possible early election”. For that, he added, it is necessary to have an alliance of government between “the three parties that agree on the essential approaches” regarding the European Union, which are PP, Ciudadanos and PSOE, since, he affirmed, the socialists and Podemos maintain “a radically different idea about Europe”.
