Spain condemns the attack that claimed the lives of 21 people in a Pakistani University

The Spanish Government expressed its solidarity to the Pakistani authorities after a terrorist attack perpetrated yesterday, which claimed the lives of at least 21 people in the university of Bacha Khan, in Charsadda (Pakistan). The Government has “roundly” condemned this attack. The terrorist group Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistán (TTP) has claimed its responsibility for it.

 

Within this context, Spain has reiterated through a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, its “firm support” in the commitment to the Pakistan’s fight against terrorism, and it sent its condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims, as well as its hopes for those injured in the attack “to recover soon and completely”.
