The Instituto Polaco de Cultura in Madrid invites you to participate in the photo contest of the Warsaw Uprising Museum, Memory of the W-hour in the frame, until 7 August.
This project is part of the official commemoration of the 78th anniversary of the Warsaw Uprising. Participants in the competition can photograph the celebrations organised around this commemoration anywhere in the world with their cameras or smartphones: official ceremonies, concerts, social actions…
The competition photos can be submitted in two categories: individual photo or photo report. Entries for the competition should be sent to foto@1944.pl.
Entries will be judged by a jury consisting of photographers Zbigniew Furman, Wojciech Grzędziński, Jacek Marczewski and Chris Niedenthal, and Jan Ołdakowski, director of the Warsaw Uprising Museum. More information, prizes and legal bases can be found here.
