The Instituto Francés of Madrid presents this evening at 7pm the duo Macadam Crocodile in concert. Admission is free, with all security measures in place.
Macadam Crocodile is a new-disco jam full of synthesizers and afro-funk drums, made of pop delirium that shines with spontaneity. Xavier Polycarpe (Gush) and Vincent Brulin (IZIA, Alain Chamfort) have been touring national and international stages for a long time, they are characterised by the need to make people dance without strategy, to simply play, to bring this madness live. The band was born three years ago in a studio in Montreuil, France. From old samples, the two musicians quickly built up a repertoire of wild improvisations, which allowed them to play sometimes for three hours in clubs. You can access the live version at this link.
