To commemorate the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Spain and Israel, the Sefarad-Israel Center is hosting the photographic exhibition “Bridges of Memory and Future: Spain–Israel” from April 29 to June 10.
The exhibition, organized in collaboration with the Embassy of Israel in Spain, offers a visual journey through the ties that have united both countries over the past four decades. Through a selection of historical and contemporary images, the exhibition explores some of the most significant moments in this relationship, from the official establishment of diplomatic relations in 1986 to current cooperation projects in areas such as culture, historical memory, education, science, and technological innovation.
The photographs on display document institutional meetings, cultural exchanges, and shared projects that reflect the ongoing dialogue between the two societies.
“Bridges of Memory and Future” invites you to discover a history that continues to unfold today through new generations, cultural initiatives, and forward-looking joint projects.
