Greece is set to reinforce its international technological projection through a prominent presence at Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona 2026, where it will present a national delegation aimed at showcasing the growing maturity and global reach of its digital ecosystem. The initiative is led by the Ministry of Digital Governance, in collaboration with Enterprise Greece and the Association of Innovative Applications Companies of Greece (SEKEE), as part of a sustained strategy to position the country within the global digital economy.
Greece’s participation in MWC dates back to 2013 and has continued uninterrupted ever since. The 2026 edition will mark its thirteenth consecutive presence, reflecting the consolidation of a national ecosystem increasingly focused on high-value sectors, particularly artificial intelligence, advanced telecommunications, data analytics, and digital services.
This development is underpinned by an active institutional framework. SEKEE represents more than 80 technology companies with international operations, while Enterprise Greece plays a key role in attracting foreign investment and supporting the international expansion of Greek businesses. Together, these institutions contribute to a broader national strategy aimed at strengthening technological competitiveness and diversifying the country’s economic model.
The delegation will include companies operating across strategic sectors such as edge computing with 5G integration, AI-powered computer vision systems, semiconductor design, satellite communications, enterprise software, and fintech infrastructure. These firms develop technologies with applications spanning telecommunications, industrial operations, financial services, and enterprise digital transformation.
In parallel, several Greek companies will present advanced data analytics and artificial intelligence platforms designed to enhance operational efficiency and support data-driven decision-making, underscoring the country’s growing role in delivering globally relevant technological solutions.
