The Council of Ministers authorized on Tuesday a voluntary contribution from Spain to the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) in the amount of €80,000.
The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development is an international organization comprised of 38 member countries. It was founded in 1960 and is headquartered in Paris.
The purpose of the voluntary contribution is the OECD Regional Programme for Latin America and the Caribbean (PRALC). PRALC aims to support the region in advancing its reform program, which is key to promoting sustainable economic growth and development. It provides a forum where policymakers can engage in dialogue with the goal of bringing the countries of the region closer to OECD norms and standards of good practice.
