Casa Asia in Barcelona presents the conference “SAJU: Discover the Korean wisdom of Tao applied to leadership and personal development” this Thursday, July 2nd. The event, co-organized with the Barcelona Provincial Council, will take place from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Centre d’Estudis i Recursos Culturals (CERC) Pati Manning (Carrer Montalegre, 7, Barcelona). Admission is free with prior registration.
We live in a fast-paced and uncertain era, full of stimuli, changes, and constant decisions. Amidst the great disorientation fueled by the multiple crises we are experiencing, people are turning to Eastern knowledge and practices to seek clarity, tranquility, and connection with life and themselves. The East has become a major source for this quest, with tools such as Yoga, mindfulness, Zen, feng shui, and Tibetan Buddhism having gained significant popularity in the West in recent decades.
However, SAJU remains largely unknown. It is an ancient Korean tool based on the Eastern wisdom of Taoism and the cyclical changes of nature. It offers surprisingly relevant knowledge, a profound system of self-knowledge, observation, and understanding of the individual in relation to time, the energies of nature, and patterns of change.
This event will present the Saju Project, a rigorous, informative, and accessible approach to SAJU: what it is, where it comes from, how it has been traditionally understood in Korea, and why it can be relevant today as a useful tool for better understanding ourselves, making more conscious decisions, and living more fully and harmoniously.
