“’El sueño de Emma’ seeks to explore the limits of love when it is deep and intense. The character of Marcos has many references to my mother, who dedicated her life to others, and also reflects my recent experience as a father. This film unites my vocation as a filmmaker with the themes that resonate with me today and the environment that connects me spiritually.” Germán Vilche.

Germán Vilche (Argentina, 1980) has extensive experience directing television series, documentaries, commercials, music videos, and feature films, both in Argentina and abroad. He has also worked as a cinematographer. In 2015, he made his directorial debut with the short film January Sun, followed in 2017 by The River House. His feature film debut is Emma’s Dream (2023).
