Mini Africa Cup Tenerife 2026

The MINI AFRICA CUP TENERIFE 2026 is a sports and cultural project that seeks to unite young people, communities, and cultures through football, promoting values such as inclusion, respect, coexistence, and sporting talent.

The event will take place on the island of Tenerife, at the El Cantillo football field (Tacoronte), from June 29 to July 11, 2026, and will feature the participation of different national teams: Cape Verde, Gambia, Morocco, Mauritania, Democratic Republic of Congo, Senegal, Guinea, and the Canary Islands.

This tournament represents much more than football. It is an opportunity to strengthen the bond between cultures, support young talent, offer a positive image of the African community in Tenerife, and highlight the warm welcome of the Canarian people.

This initiative is supported by the UD Las Palmas Canary Islands Foundation, through the CONVIDA Project; the Sansofé Campus of the University of La Laguna (ULL); The “Here We Are Migrating” Association, the Seneball Association, and the UD Tacoronte football club have organized this activity. It has been 85% co-financed by ERDF funds within the framework of the European COMPASS project, which comprehensively addresses the phenomenon of migration in both countries of origin and destination. Casa África is one of the collaborating entities, along with the Government of the Canary Islands and the Spanish Chamber of Commerce, among others.
