Next Friday, March 6 at 7:30 p.m., the Club Monteverdi in Madrid (calle Almagro, 36) presents a Gala de Zarzuela in its auditorium, an opportunity to enjoy the best Zarzuelas ever.
The soprano Rosa Gomáriz and the tenor Miguel Borrallo, together with the pianist Aylin Pla, will be responsible for performing such famous pieces as “Bella enamorada” from “El último romántico” by R. Soutullo and J. Vert; “Un tiempo fue” from “Jugar con fuego” by F. A. Barbieri; “Cállate corazón” from “Luisa Fernanda” by F. Moreno Torroba; “De este apacible rincón de Madrid” by “Luisa Fernanda” by F. Moreno Torroba; “Yo quiero un hombre con todo el alma” by “El Cabo Primero” by M. Fernández Caballero; “Caballero del alto plumero” by “Luisa Fernanda” by F. Moreno Torroba; “Mazurca de los Paraguas” of “El año pasado por agua” by R. Chapí; “Granada” by A. Lara; “Canción de Paloma” by “El Barberillo de Lavapiés” by F. A. Barbieri or “No puede ser” by “La Tabernera del Puerto” by P. Sorozábal.
