Next Wednesday, December 17 at 6.30 p.m., the Embassy of the Dominican Republic and Casa América present in the Simón Bolívar room of the diplomatic cultural center the meeting Dominican Youth in Spain: integration, entrepreneurship and excellence, on the occasion of Migrant Day (18 December). Free admission until capacity is full.
This meeting aims to motivate and empower the Dominican youth living in Spain by presenting real examples of successful integration, entrepreneurship and academic or professional excellence.
Through the participation of young Dominicans between 15 and 21 years old, born in the Dominican Republic and currently resident in Spain, it seeks to show positive references that inspire other young people; promote active integration into Spanish society; Raise awareness of educational, cultural and development opportunities; foster youth leadership and vision; and strengthen the sense of identity and belonging within the Dominican diaspora.
These young participants are examples of achievement and success in the areas they have highlighted, such as education, entrepreneurship, leadership, sports and the arts, among others. Panelists will share their experiences on integration, development opportunities and the importance of maintaining a positive Dominican identity in Spain.
Jonás Geraldo Pérez, Honey Hillary Generez Fuentes, Mairelis Paredes and Nicolás Navarro will participate in the event.
