The Universidad Politécnica of Madrid hosts the exhibition Visionary Hungarians, dedicated to Hungarian inventors, scientists and pioneers who have contributed decisively to the progress of science, technology and innovation.
Organized by the Embassy of Hungary together with the UPM, the exhibition brings together 17 large-format panels and puts into context the Hungarian footprint in 20th century and current innovation.
The inaugural event was attended by the Ambassador of Hungary, Jorge de Habsburgo, and the Rector of the UPM, Óscar García Suárez, together with teachers, students and guests from the academic and cultural fields. After the speeches, attendees toured the exhibition.
The exhibition can be visited on school days, from 8 to 20 hours, until 18 November, at the Higher Technical School of Mines and Energy (ETSIME-UPM), calle Ríos Rosas 21.
