For the first time in Spain, the Teatro Circo Price (Ronda de Atocha, 35) hosts Entre chiens et louves (Between dogs and wolves), the third production by the French company Cirque Le Roux, internationally renowned for its fusion of acrobatics, theatre and cinematographic aesthetics. The show runs from today until 1 November.
This production is a poetic journey through time and collective history. Three women inhabit the same space at three different times-1870, 1960 and 2022-reflecting intergenerational ties, desires for freedom and the continuities of social conflicts.
With a scenic language that combines circus techniques, dance, theatre and visual resources inspired by cinema, the work proposes a sensory experience where body and memory intertwine to tell a story about resistance, emancipation and hope. The stage, vertical and changing, acts almost like a film set in which eight performers lead the audience through an epic adventure that mixes comedy, acrobatics and physical poetry.
