The 8th edition of the Ibero-American Circus Festival (FiRCO) arrives at Price

The track of the Teatro Circo Price in Madrid will once again host, from tomorrow to 5 October, a unique event in the world, the 8th edition of the Ibero-American Circus Festival (FiRCO), both for its format of short numbers and for hosting the best circus talents from Ibero-America.

Organized by Circontinente, FiRCO is one of its hallmarks and the reason for its success among audiences of all ages. The festival consists of three wonderful evenings with 9 top artists showing their skills in various disciplines (acrobatics, aerial, balances, juggling, etc.) and competing for the different prizes to be awarded. A spectacular show with live music by FiRCO Orquestina and a fantastic presenter, Raquel Molano.

As a novelty, this year for the first time there will be very unusual numbers to see live: smooth rope and acrobatic bike, pendulum hoop, icarios, head balance and juggling…, making one of the riskiest editions of the festival. In addition, the French Camille Judic (France), specialized in tapes, will be the guest artist on this occasion. Important international figures from the circus world, such as Irina Naumenko (Circo del Sol), Linda Tavellin (International Salieri Circus Awards) or Louisa Raluy (co-director of Circo Raluy Legacy), will make up this year’s jury.

FiRCO continues to consolidate itself as a meeting point for professionals with the organization of an online and face-to-face Marketplace, where artists will be brought into contact with leading international programmers, directors and producers.
