On the occasion of the visit of Sheikh Khalifa al Harthy, State Secretary for Political Affairs of the Government of Oman and in the framework of the Country Focus: Oman which takes place at Casa Árabe during the second half of 2025, On 2 and 3 October the cultural institution hosts two days dedicated to the country including an exhibition, a concert and a conference.
The program will begin on Thursday, October 2 at 6 pm with the opening of the exhibition Images of the Land of Oman, a photographic sample of the Fundación Bait Al Zubair that can be seen in the Column Room of Casa Árabe.
It will be followed by the concert Musical Bridges: from Oman to the Mediterranean, conducted by the First Royal Orchestra of Music and Popular Arts of Oman. The performance will be in the Auditorium of Casa Árabe with free admission until completion of capacity. The event is scheduled to end at 8.30 pm.
The following day, on Friday 3 October from 10.30 a.m., a round table discussion will be held on the figure of Ibn Al Dhahabi by Mahmood Al Abri, general secretary of the Omani National Commission for Education, Culture and Science, and Khalid Al Maamari, assistant professor at the Faculty of Education and Arts, Sohar University.
The events were organized by Casa Árabe, the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Madrid, the Ministry of Culture, Sport and Youth of Oman and the Fundación Bait Al Zubair.
