The best summer cinema can be enjoyed in the Plaza de España of Madrid during this month of August thanks to the new edition of La Estival. The location becomes the epicenter of Madrid’s film culture becoming a great summer cinema surrounded by a Summer Market and a spectacular terrace with gastronomy area.
The summer cinema has a screen of more than 100 square meters and 800 seats with a varied offer that presents three great values: culture, gastronomy and solidarity with premieres films, classics, concerts, monologues and shows.
The August cinema programming combines current and premiere titles, such as Superman, How to Train Your Dragon, Elio, Jrassic World The Reborn, Karate Kid Legends or FI The film, along with classics like Inside the Maze, Lost in Translation, Whiplash, Cinema Paradiso, Gilda or Gladiator.
The audio is transmitted through wireless stereo headphones with the possibility to choose the language of projection (V.o.S.E. / V.e.), which allows this experience to be accessible for both national citizens and tourists.
In addition, you can enjoy the restaurant area and the participation of dj’s in the meadow area on Fridays and Saturdays with free access for all public. And to complete the offer, outside the cinema area, there is an exhibition of local crafts with a Summer Market (summer market) that brings together 14 to 20 stands similar to those on the beach.
