Fundación Ortega-Marañón presents the exhibition ‘Generación 25’

 

Until next July 30, the Fundación Ortega-Marañón (calle Fortuny, 53) presents the collective exhibition Generation 25.

 

This exhibition is composed of ten current photographers of different ages, backgrounds and sensitivities, who dialogue with ten relevant figures from that generation to create pieces of new production.

 

The ‘sinsombrero’ honored are the journalist Josefina Carabias, the politician Margarita Nelken, the philosopher María Zambrano, the chemist Dorotea Barnés, the poet Concha Méndez, the architect Matilde Ucelay, the painter Maruja Mallo, the lexicographer María Moliner, the set designer Victorina Durán and the aviator María Bernaldo de Quirós.

 

The visual artists who pay tribute to them are Rocío Bueno, Elisa Miralles, María Platero, Laura C. Vela, Marina Bobo, Lurdes R. Basolí, Sofía Moro, Montaña Gama, Ana Paes and Alba Serra Ferrer. The exhibition is completed with a report of 5 images of symbolic spaces of the Residence, made by Ana Amado.
