Two days of Korean K-Food classes at A Punto Cooking School

The Centro Cultural Coreano, in collaboration with the global food company CJ CheilJedang, organizes two days of Korean cooking class on June 26 and 28 at the gastronomic school A Punto Escuela de Cocina, in Madrid. This activity is part of the Touring K-Arts program, promoted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Korea and the Korean Public Agency for the Promotion of International Cultural Exchange (KOFICE), which supports the international dissemination of prominent Korean cultural and artistic projects.

The class focuses on the real Hansik theme and contemporary Korean cuisine, highlighting the modern expansion of traditional Korean cuisine. The activity includes pre-training, demonstration, practice, tasting and discussion. The dishes selected are japchae (sweet potato noodles with vegetables) and mandu (Korean dumplings), carefully reinterpreted to facilitate their preparation with ingredients accessible on the local Spanish market. Both have a vegetarian option, designed to make K-Food easy to integrate into everyday life.

The dates of the two days are 26 and 28 June, from 11:30 to 14:30; participation is free; includes: a lot of Bibigo products and a commemorative gift. 16 participants per session will be selected, who will be contacted via email or phone today at 4 pm.

The course is aimed at people interested in Korean gastronomy and culture, and those who wish to learn how to prepare authentic Korean dishes. The participation of people active in social networks who can share their experience after class will be particularly valued. The recipe includes soy, wheat, shrimp, eggs, sesame, oysters, among others, and there is no gluten-free option.

The event will be videotaped and photographed throughout the venue. By participating, you consent to be filmed and photographed, and the material may be used in social media and publications of the Centro Cultural Coreano and CJ CheilJedang.
