The Instituto Italiano de Cultura presents the Trio Hèrmes in concert

 

Tomorrow, Wednesday at 8 pm and within the framework of its cycle In Scena A Palazzo, the Instituto Italiano de Cultura of Madrid presents, in collaboration with CIDIM, Comitato Nazionale Italiano Musica and with the project Giovani Talenti Musicali italiani nel Mondo, the concert of Trio Hèrmes.

 

Composed by Ginevra Bassetti, violin; Francesca Giglio, cello; and Marianna Pulsoni, piano, the Trio Hèrmes has made a name for itself in the national and international music scene. Since its formation, the Trio has been studying repertoire under the direction of the Trio di Parma and Pierpaolo Maurizzi at the Arrigo Boito Conservatory in Parma. Then he continued at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, in the Chamber Music class of Maestro Ivan Rabaglia and currently attends the Walter Stauffer Academy in the class of the Quartetto di Cremona.

 

The ensemble was selected by MDW University of Vienna to participate in the International Summer Academy, thus having the possibility to work with professors such as Hatto Beyerle, Avedis Kouyomdjian, Patrick Jüdt, Johannes Meissl and others, being invited to take part in the study sessions and concerts organized by the ECMA (European Chamber Music Academy), as a guest group.

 

The Hèrmes Trio has won competitions such as the European Music Competition «City of Moncalieri» 2019, the competition «Premio Crescendo» in Florence 2021 and the competition «Premio Alberghini» in Bologna. In 2021, the group the group was selected by Simone Gramaglia to join the network of «Le Dimore del Quartetto», where it then received the award «Ensemble of the Year 2023» for the remarkable artistic and professional growth, chosen from over 92 groups from all over the world. He has also been selected by the Fondazione Accademia Musicale Chigiana of Siena to participate in the project Giovani Talenti Musicali Italiani nel Mondo, an initiative established in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and CIDIM-Comitato Nazionale Italiano Musica. In 2024 he received the Giovanna Maniezzo 2024 Prize for outstanding artistic, promotional and projectual qualities within the current musical panorama. The ensemble has participated in many festivals and major seasons nationally and has made its debut for the Accademia Filarmonica Romana at the Teatro Argentina in Rome, and for the TauberPhilarmonie of Weikersheim as first concert in the year, in collaboration with Jeunesses Musicales Deutschland.
