Tomorrow, Wednesday, the Círculo Intercultural Hispano Árabe (CIHAR) celebrates a decade of work at Casa Árabe with two events organized by its president, Abdo Tounsi.

There will be two sessions, morning and afternoon. The first meeting, which will begin at 11.30 a.m., in the Casa Árabe Ambassadors’ Hall, will review the activities carried out during these 10 years, and the award of diplomas in recognition of their achievements to personalities who have collaborated with the Circle.

The afternoon session will begin at 18:30 in the Auditorio of Casa Árabe and will be attended by the musician Eduardo Paniagua, who will make an introduction to Andalusian music, followed by María del Carmen Vera, who will review the figure of Ziryab, ‘the cantor of Baghdad’, accompanied by Isabel Cabrera Saúco. Next will take place a poetic recital for peace and interculturality. The event will end with a short musical performance of lute and guitar. The duration planned for both sessions is two hours and admission is free until Fill the capacity.

The Hispanic Arab Intercultural Circle (CIHAR) is an organization dedicated to promoting dialogue, understanding and cultural exchange between the Hispanic and Arab communities. Through various activities, such as conferences, workshops, exhibitions and cultural events, CIHAR seeks to foster mutual respect, diversity and collaboration between both cultures. Its aim is to create bridges that unite people of different backgrounds to celebrate their cultural richness and strengthen ties of friendship and cooperation. CIHAR plays an important role in promoting intercultural understanding and building a more inclusive and peaceful world.
