The Embassy of Japan informs about the new calls for applications for Monbukagakushō (MEXT-Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan) scholarships in two modalities, Kenkyuu, for Spanish graduates, and Senshuu, for students of Specialised Training.
In the first of these, Kenkyuu, the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (Monbukagakusho – MEXT) offers Spanish graduates the possibility of carrying out a research project for a year and a half or two years in the areas of study of their choice at Japanese universities, with the opportunity to access master’s and/or doctoral studies. It includes a six-month Japanese language course. The scholarship starts in April or October 2025. All the information can be found at this link.
For its part, in the second, Senshuu, the Japanese Ministry offers Spanish students the possibility of pursuing a career in specialised training institutes in different areas of study in the Japanese language, which includes a year of intensive Japanese language learning.
