The Diplomat
After last year’s success, the Italian Embassy, in collaboration with the ICE office, has launched the second edition of the project to promote Italian design on the Spanish streets El Diseño italiano a pie de calle, a public-private partnership campaign that brings Italian Design Day (IDD), scheduled this year for 14 March, to the Spanish streets in collaboration with Italian product distributors.

As indicated in the public notice, the percentage of the discount, the products on which it is applied and the period of membership are decided by the merchants concerned, provided that it is within the indicated deadlines.
Membership involves displaying the IDD logo in shop windows. The discounts offered range from 5 to 20% for a variable period. The initiative, launched in anticipation of the Milan Furniture Fair (16-21 April), combines symbolic aspects (the logo, the street, proximity to the citizen), IDD-related communication and commercial aspects, focusing on public and private synergies in the promotion of Made in Italy.
