Next Friday 28 July sees the Spanish premiere of Javier Elorrieta’s long-awaited return to film directing, Delfines de plata (Silver Dolphins), starring Rodolfo Sancho, Will Shephard, María Blanco and Luis Fernando Alves.
The script, also written by Javier Elorrieta, tells the story of how a luxury hotel in Madrid is targeted by an international terrorist group to carry out an attack that will serve as a loudspeaker to the Western world. Employees and clients of the hotel, police officers, politicians and artists will be involved in a series of dramatic events that will put the stability of the country at risk. The police commissioner Javier Gallardo, played by a magnificent Rodolfo Sancho) will have to take on the difficult mission of dismantling the terrorist cell before the imminent attack takes place, although to do so he will be forced to question the orders of the recently appointed Minister of the Interior, thus uncovering secret relationships in the shadows.
