The Centro Cultural de China (Calle General Pardiñas, 73) invites next Tuesday 9 May at 18.30 hours a special event of Shandong, the traditional Cultural Salon ‘Yaji’, where the literate and cultured of ancient China gather to recite poems and make intellectual debates in the company of good art, savouring an exquisite tea. Free admission until full capacity is reached.

The event will consist of a Tea Ceremony, a calligraphy demonstration, a guqin concert, an incense relaxation, an exhibition of traditional Shandong handicrafts and special performances: ancient Chinese art. At 7 p.m. there will be a water-sleeve dance performance, a taijiquan, and a puppet show.

The event is organised by the Culture and Tourism Bureau of Shandong Province, the Foreign Affairs Bureau of Shandong Province and the Network of International Culturalink Entities, with the support of the China Tourism Office in Spain.
