On 14 February at 7 p.m., the Fundación Carlos de Amberes will host the concert-presentation of the album Imperatrix Agatha by the female vocal ensemble Egeria in its chapel.
Mario Guada, musicologist, critic and editor-in-chief of the specialised magazine Coladario, will be present for the presentation of the disc. Afterwards, the ensemble Egeria will offer in concert a selection of pieces from their new album Imperatrix Agatha, accompanied by the master Rubens and his Martyrdom of St. Andrew. Egeria is a female vocal ensemble specialising in the Ars Antiqua period. Since its creation, the ensemble has received the best reviews from the greatest specialists in the field, winning in 2020 the award for Best Medieval Music Group granted by the association of Spanish Early Music Groups (GEMA).
