The Instituto Cultural Rumano of Madrid is organising this evening at 6 p.m., in collaboration with the Centro Sefarad-Israel and under the auspices of the Romanian Embassy, a dramatised reading of the work of Mihail Sebastian at the headquarters of the Centro Sefarad-Israel (Calle Mayor, 69), with the participation of the professional actors Mariana Achim and Ander Orenga Caminos.
The director Encarnación Fernández Gómez, PhD in Theatre and Stage Acting, is the coordinator of this reading, which is based on the volume containing the plays Juego de vacaciones, La estrella sin nombre and La última hora, published this year by the publishing house Fundamentos, in collaboration with the Real Escuela Superior de Arte Dramático de Madrid (RESAD) and with the support of the Centro Nacional del Libro.
The reading will be preceded by the presentation of this volume, entitled Teatro, which contains the three plays by Mihail Sebastian, which will be attended by representatives of the publishing house Fundamentos and the RESAD, the two translators of the volume, Francisco Javier Bran García and George Codreanu, Encarnación Fernández Gómez together with the two actors, as well as the cultural director of the Centro Sefarad, Esther Bendaham, who will moderate the colloquium.
