Within the framework of the business mission that the Port of Barcelona is carrying out this year to Thailand, the webinar How to do business in Thailand is organised in collaboration with Casa Asia, which will be held online tomorrow, from 10.00 to 11.00 am. This mission, aimed at companies of the Port Community of Barcelona and importers/exporters, will be held from 24 to 27 October 2022.
Thailand is the third largest market in South Asia and the second largest in terms of GDP. For this reason, and given the interest of the port community in the destination country, the Port of Barcelona has chosen Bangkok as the new ASEAN target for this year’s business mission.
At 10 a.m., Manel Galán, Head of External Relations of the Port of Barcelona, and Phantipha Iamsudha Ekarohit, Ambassador of Thailand, will welcome the attendees. Afterwards, Tomás González, President of ASEMPEA, and Antonio Viñal, CEO Avco LEGAL, will talk about How to access the Thai market. At 10.25 a.m. Amadeo Jensana, Director of Economy and Business of Casa Asia will talk about Business Culture and protocol; at 10.40 a.m. several companies will give their testimonies and their implementation in the Asian country, and the event will end at 10.50 a.m. with a question and answer session.
